Bike & wine experience in Monferrato
Experience Monferrato at the slow pace of its hills, among nature, views, and local wines. The Bike & wine package by Tenuta la Romana is designed for those who wish to combine the pleasure of a day outdoors with a cellar tour and tasting.
The bike will be at your disposal for the whole day, so you can organize the experience with maximum freedom, choosing the departure time best suited to the season and your way of traveling.
The route starts from Tenuta la Romana and leads to the Emanuele gambino winery in Costigliole d’Asti, crossing the hilly landscape of the Asti Monferrato. Once you arrive, a tour with a tasting of 4 wines awaits you, accompanied by a platter of selected products. At the end of the experience, you can return independently to the tenuta.
Every season offers a different way to live this experience. In summer you can leave early in the morning and return in the early afternoon, to then enjoy a relaxing moment by the pool. On milder days, however, you can choose a slower departure and return towards sunset, when the hills light up and the landscape becomes even more suggestive.
The indicative travel time is about two hours each way for those who prefer a peaceful pace or for those who are new to cycling. For more trained guests, the route can be completed in about an hour and a half each way.
